The Chhattisgarh Judicial Services is an opportunity for law graduates to become civil judges in Chhattisgarh judiciary. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) conducts the Chhattisgarh Judicial Services Exam.
The Chhattisgarh Judicial Services examination is held in three stages -
Preliminary Exam - The prelims exam is an objective type exam to shortlist candidates to the next stage. There will be 100 questions and a time period of 2 hours. There is no negative marking in the prelims exam. It is conducted in both English and Hindi mediums .
Mains Examination - Candidates who qualify the prelims move to mains examination. This is a descriptive exam. The exam will be of 100 marks with a duration of 3 hours.
Interview - It is the final stage of the examination process, candidates who successfully clear the mains reach the interview round. Interview is of 15 marks, and candidates are required to obtain qualifying marks as follows -

Mains Exam - The candidates who scored the highest marks in the Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination. The number of shortlisted candidates will be approximately one-tenth (10%) of the total number of vacancies advertised, and will be determined based on merit.

The candidate appearing for the exam must be a law graduate from a recognized college or University.
The minimum age required is 21 and the upper age limit is 35 years ( age relaxation provided to certain categories ).
